Trisha (sp?) called me immediately after chatting through the website -despite it being the absolute last minutes of her shift- and stayed on the phone with me for another 45 minutes as we finalized my agreement. All so I would be able to move in tonight despite their office being closed for the day. Thats what I call impeccable customer service and CARE. Well done Trisha. Truly refreshing to have this type of experience in this day and age when they’ve become exceedingly rare. I guess on the plus side is that it will always stick in my memory as a stand out performance.:)

I would highly recommend the Bay Area Self Storage (BASS) in San Mateo, especially because of its outstanding front office staff, Irma and Zyra. They are always helpful and patient, even during their busiest moments. The storage facility itself is consistently clean and well maintained, especially compared to several other storage establishments I’ve used throughout the Peninsula. I also truly appreciate that security is a top priority here. At a previous storage facility, there were multiple break-ins, and the facility offered very limited security and accountability, which makes this location’s commitment to safety especially reassuring.

If you are looking for a safe place to store your items, I highly recommend you come talk to Zyra or Irma. They are both very respectful and will help you move in without any stress. Price is fair for what the location provides, easy access, safe, and less traffic. Moving from Public Storage to this is 100% my best decision ever made. You will not be disappointed. Tell them I sent you.
